Northeastern Eye Institute’s newly renovated Honesdale office is located at 626 Park Street. In addition to Honesdale, this office serves the communities of Uniondale, Lake Como, Starlight, Milford, Hawley, Waymart, South Canaan, Lake Ariel, Beach Lake, Narrowsburg, NY, Hankins, NY, Lackawaxen, Newfoundland, Sterling, Pleasant Mt., Jeffersonville, NY, Callicoon, NY and Cochection, NY.

A whole range of eyecare services, including regular eye exams, contact lens care, treatment of eye diseases, and diagnostic testing services are offered at the Honesdale location. The Optical Department offers a great selection of lens options and frames, including popular designer products and affordable eyewear packages. Eyewear and sunwear designers include, Fendi, BCBG, Gucci, Furla, Etro, Perry Ellis, Elizabeth Arden, Elle and Esprit. Sunwear selections also include Ray Ban and Costa DelMar. Young adult and children’s brands feature Guess, Ocean Pacific, Izod, Converse and Sketchers.

Saturday appointments are available and there is plenty of convenient parking.

Jerome W. Jordan, M.D., Christopher S. Jordan, M.D. and John W. Hubbard, O.D. practice at this location.

Dr. Jerome Jordan is one of the founders of Northeastern Eye Institute. He specializes in cataract surgery, performing small incision, no-stitch, no-needle cataract techniques. He has performed over 20,000 cataract surgeries.

Dr. Christopher Jordan is a Fellowship-trained Cornea and Refractive Surgery Specialist. Following in the footsteps of his father, Jerome W. Jordan, M.D. and his grandfather, James S. Jordan, M.D., Dr. Chris is a third-generation ophthalmologist practicing in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Both Dr. Jerome Jordan and Dr. Christopher Jordan perform surgery at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale as well as at the NEI Ambulatory Surgery Center in Scranton.

Dr. Hubbard joined Northeastern Eye Institute in 1990. He specializes in general optometry with a subspecialty in contact lenses. He is a member of the Honesdale Lions Club and sponsors a Little League team called Dr. Hubbard's Tigers.

The staff of the Honesdale office has participated in many Health Fairs including the Healthy Kids Fair and the Hunter's Health Fair. The staff also participates each year in the NEPA Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
