Northeastern Eye Institute's Pittston office is located at the Pittston Plaza, 1850 South Township Blvd. This office serves the communities of Pittston, West Pittston, Exeter, Wyoming, Plains, Duryea, Avoca, Moosic, Suscon, Old Forge, Dupont, Harding, Glendale, Falls and West Wyoming.

The Pittston office offers both ophthalmology and optometry services, including treatment of diseases of the eye, diagnostic testing services, regular eye exams and contact lens services. A great selection of eyeglass frames is available including the latest in designer products as well as our affordable eyewear packages. Eyewear and sunwear designers include, Coach, BCBG, Prada, Furla, Perry Ellis, Elizabeth Arden, Etro, Elle and Esprit. Young adult and children's brands feature, Guess, Ocean Pacific, Izod, Converse and Sketchers.

Willliam J. Jordan, Jr., D.O., William J. Jordan, Sr., M.D., Kenneth Alpha, O.D., Michael R. Boland, O.D. and Carlene Siracuse, O.D. practice at the Pittston location.

Dr. William Jordan, Jr. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with special interests including cataract surgery and glaucoma. He serves on the Board of the Lackawanna Branch of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind and is the co-chairman of its annual Swing for Sight golf tournament. He is also a site director for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of The Commonwealth Medical College. Dr. Jordan is a member of the National Ski Patrol and is on the Ski Patrol at Elk Mountain Ski Resort.

Dr. William Jordan, Sr. is one of the founders of Northeastern Eye Institute. He specializes in ocular diseases. He has been appointed to serve as a faculty member at The Commonwealth Medical College.

Dr. Alpha joined Northeastern Eye Institute in 1991. From 1983 to 1986, Dr. Alpha served in the U.S. Air Force at Hurlbart Field, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He achieved a rank of Captain and served as chief of Optometry Service. He specializes in geriatrics, contact lenses and general optometry.

Dr. Michael Boland joined Northeastern Eye Institute in 1998 and he specializes in primary eye care, pediatrics and contact lenses. Following in the footsteps of his father, Stanley W. Boland, Jr., M.D. and his grandfather, Stanley W. Boland, Sr., M.D., Dr. Mike is a third-generation eye doctor working in Northeastern Pennsylvania. In 1998, he received the Conforma Contact Lens Award of Excellence in recognition for his outstanding academic and clinical performance in his contact lens practice. Dr. Boland has published articles in Contact Lens Spectrum, Optometric Management, and Review of Contact Lenses. Dr. Boland serves as an assistant clinical editor for Review of Contact Lenses.

Dr. Siracuse is a native of the Wyoming Valley and graduated from Wyoming Area High School. She specializes in family eyecare and contact lenses.

Staff members of the Pittston office volunteer for community organizations such as The Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA, the Irem Temple Shriners, Boys and Girls Club of America and NEPA VMA.
