Northeastern Eye Institute 2011 Flood Relief Program
Serving Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton and all of Northeastern Pennsylvania
Northeastern Eye Institute, the leading provider of comprehensive eye care in northeastern Pennsylvania, is proud to have provided free eye care and corrective lenses to those impacted by the recent flooding. After witnessing the impact of the flooding, the doctors and staff of Northeastern Eye Institute volunteered their time to provide free refractions and eyeglasses or contact lenses to flood victims.
On October 1, 2011, over 150 flood victims received free refractions as well as either eyeglasses or contacts at no cost. Appointments were offered at the offices closest to the flood areas. Patients were required to provide proof of flood loss to receive benefits.
Northeastern Eye Institute would like to thank everyone who made this program successful. We appreciate all the help and support.
