CustomVue
The CustomVue procedure uses wavefront technology which is a 25 times more accurate method of diagnosing refractive errors compared to traditional ophthalmic equipment.
The wavefront system creates a 3-D map that is based specifically on the patterns your eye.
This map guides the laser to correct your vision. The iLASIK technique also introduces integrated Iris Registration technology, bringing another layer of precision and safety to your laser treatment. This means greater accuracy than ever in applying the CustomVue treatment to your eye, resulting in better visual results.
IntraLase
During the iLASIK procedure, a flap is created prior to treating your eye with the excimer laser beam. Traditionally, this flap was created using a blade. IntraLase uses a femtosecond laser to make this flap, which enables an extremely precise and predictably thin flap to be created. This can also make it possible for people with very thin or steep corneas, who may not be good candidates for bladed flaps, to obtain a good result.
