Curtis L. Goodwin, O.D. | Northeastern Eye InstituteDr. Goodwin joined Northeastern Eye Institute in January 1999, practicing in our Dallas, Luzerne County location. Prior to joining Northeastern Eye Institute, he had a private practice in Shavertown since 1979.

He is a graduate of East Stroudsburg State College and Indiana University College of Optometry. Dr. Goodwin completed externships at Ft. Knox Ophthalmology/Optometry Clinic in Kentucky, Indianapolis Low Vision Clinic, and Bloomington Contact lens research clinic. He was the recipient of the Wesley Jessen Contact Lens Research Award.

Dr. Goodwin is certified in the pre- and post -operative care for PRK and LASIK. In 1997, he was certified for treatment and management of ocular diseases.

Dr. Goodwin is a member of the Northeast Optometric Society, Pennsylvania Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association. He is a member of VOSH, or Volunteers of Optometric Service to Humanity. Dr. Goodwin specializes in pediatric optometry, contact lenses, laser vision correction, and low vision.
