Dr. Stanley  Boland is one of the founders of Northeastern Eye Institute.  Dr. Boland practices in our Clarks Summit and Scranton offices.
Dr. Boland received his bachelor's degree from the University of Scranton and was awarded his medical doctorate from the University of Ottawa, Canada.  He completed an internship at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, Pennsylvania and a residency at Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia.
Dr. Boland is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, the Ophthalmic Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Lackawanna County Medical Societies.
Dr. Boland was recognized by the American Medical Association in 1990 for his contribution to continuing education in Ophthalmology.
