Dr. William Jordan is one of the founders of Northeastern Eye Institute. Dr. Jordan practices in our Scranton and Pittston offices. He specializes in all ocular diseases and all surgical procedures involving the eye.
Dr. Jordan received his bachelor's degree from Villanova University and was awarded his medical doctorate from the University of Ottawa in Canada. He completed his internship at Harrisburg General Hospital and his residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Prior to completing his residency, Dr. Jordan is a U.S. Veteran having served on active duty in the Vietnam era, completing his duties with the rank of Captain.
Dr. Jordan is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Jordan is also certified to perform laser refractive surgery.
Dr. Jordan is a member of the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, the Ophthalmology Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Lackawanna County Medical Societies.
