I recently had a consultation to see if I was a candidate for lasik surgery. My Doctor was Emily Jones. My eyes were checked & then I met with Dr. Jones. Although I was a candidate, Dr, Jones warned me that at my age (64), and the fact that I have not required any cataract attention yet, I should wait. As Dr. Jones advised, it is not a question of if I would require a cataract adjustment, it was when. She advised that if we were to move forward with a lasik procedure, and cataract issues were to occur, I would be wasting my money. Additionally, based on my eye testing, she gave me an updated prescription for new glasses. I find it refreshing in these times, for such a candid consultation and advice to NOT move forward for a costly procedure. First rate! Thank you Dr. Jones.
