Northeastern Eye Institute Nominated as Finalist for 2013 Optical Awards

Northeastern Eye Institute is proud to announce that we have been nominated as a national finalist for the Transitions Awards Program. The award, which is presented by Transitions Optical, Inc., recognizes optical labs, optical retailers, and eye care professionals for their commitment to promoting optimal eye health and photocromic lenses. Transition Optical is one of the leading providers of photocromic lenses in the nation.

There were only three eye care providers named as finalists for the Regional Retailer of the Year Award, and the doctors at Northeastern Eye Institute are honored to receive this prestigious recognition. It is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing you with the finest quality optical products available.

The winner of the award will be announced in late January at the Transitions Academy, held in Orlando, Florida. While we hope to be named the winner, we understand that simply being nominated as a finalist is a tremendous achievement.

At Northeastern Eye Institute, we offer a wide range of Transitions® Adaptive lenses. These eye glasses contain photochromic dyes that are activated by ultraviolet light exposure. As a result, your glasses become increasingly darker when you are exposed to UV rays of increasing intensity. This eliminates the hassles associated with switching between eye glasses and sunglasses every time you go in and out of doors.

To learn more about the Transitions lens options we offer, please contact Northeastern Eye Institute today to schedule your initial consultation. We have 15 conveniently located offices throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, including Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and Hazelton.
