About
Education
He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
Experience
He completed his Ophthalmology training at Geisinger Medical Center and then joined his father, Dr. James Jordan, and his brothers, Dr. Arthur and Dr. William Jordan, in practicing Ophthalmology in Scranton.
Research & Community
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Jordan is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, the Outpatient Ophthalmic Society and the Lackawanna Medical Society, serving as its president in 1985. He is involved with the Commonwealth Medical College, serving as a clinical instructor.
Personal
Dr. Jordan has served on the Board of Scranton Preparatory School, including two years as Chairman. He has also served on the Board of the University of Scranton and The Country Club of Scranton. He also served in the Army Reserve with the 300th Field Hospital. Dr. Jordan is pleased to be joined in practice by his son, Christopher Jordan, M.D., his daughter, Beth Jordan-Flickinger, O.D. and his son-in-law, Brad Flickinger, O.D., F.A.A.O.
