About
Education
Dr. Klase earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from King’s College in 2020 and graduated cum laude. She then went on to receive her doctor of optometry degree in 2024 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University located in Elkins Park, PA. She graduated with clinical honors at her clinical externship sites. Dr. Klase has experience in performing comprehensive eye exams and managing ocular disease since 2024.
Experience
During her clinical training, Dr. Klase gained extensive experience caring for patients across a wide range of eye conditions and clinical settings. She completed internships at Biernacki Wagner Eye Associates in Wilkes-Barre, where she focused on primary eye care and contact lens fittings, and at the Allentown VA Clinic, where she provided medical-based eye care and managed conditions such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She also trained at the Feinbloom Low Vision Center at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, providing comprehensive low vision care and device fittings for adults and children, and at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, where she continued to build her expertise in medical-based primary eye care in a hospital environment.
