About
Education
Dr. Robert Blase earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1981, where he also completed his Bachelor of Science degree that same year. Prior to attending optometry school, he studied at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, and the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania, completing his undergraduate coursework in 1977 and 1974, respectively.
Experience
Dr. Robert Blase has practiced optometry for more than four decades, providing comprehensive eye care to patients throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. Since 1999, he has been part of Eye Care Specialists, seeing patients in Pittston and Dallas, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he founded and practiced at Blasé Family Eye Care in Kingston, Pennsylvania, from 1981 to 1999. Dr. Blase also completed clinical externships at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and at Jordan Vision Associates in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he gained valuable hands-on experience early in his career.

Dr. Blase is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
