Northeastern Eye Institute's Montrose office is located at 16749 State Route 706 in the Rob's Market Plaza. In addition to Montrose, this office also serves the communities of Susquehanna, Gibson, Jackson, Uniondale, New Milford, Hallstead, Great Bend, Dimock, Springville, Lawton, Tunkhannock, Brackney, Little Meadows , Apalachin and Starucca. There is easy access and ample parking available at this location.
The Montrose office offers both ophthalmology and optometry services, including treatment of diseases of the eye, regular eye exams and contact lens services. The full service optical department stocks the latest in designer frame product as well as our affordable eyewear packages. Eyewear and sunwear designers include, Silhouette, Coach, Furla, Etro, Elle, Esprit, and Costa DelMar. Young adult and children's brands feature, Guess, Ocean Pacific, Izod, Converse, and Sketchers. And, there is free Wi-fi available in waiting areas.

Dr. Jordan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with special interests including cataract surgery, glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology. He is also a site director for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and is Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of surgery of The Commonwealth Medical College. Dr. Jordan serves on the Board of the Lackawanna Branch of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind and the Steamtown Marathon Board. An avid runner, Dr. Jordan participates in many area charitable races and has completed the Steamtown Marathon several times.
Dr. Kaufman joined Northeastern Eye Institute in 2000 but has practiced in the Montrose area since 1973. A member of the local Lions Club, Dr. Kaufman resides in Montrose and is on staff of Endless Mountains Health Systems in Montrose and Barnes-Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna.
