Education
Dr. Farrell earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2007. She also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Sciences at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2004. Prior to optometry school, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003.

Dr. Farrell has been practicing at Eye Care Specialists in Dallas, Pennsylvania, since 2011. Previously, she practiced as an independent optometrist in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, from 2007 to 2011. Her clinical training included multiple externships across northeastern Pennsylvania and Philadelphia, including Eye Care Specialists in Kingston, Albert Einstein Medical Center, Northeastern Eye Institute, the Pediatric and Binocular Vision Clinic at The Eye Institute at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and Family Eye Care of NEPA.
